Cricket Kenya has acquired four new one-ton motorized rollers from United Kingdom. The need for the rollers has been necessitated to assist the organization to produce top quality pitches for matches hosted in the country both local and international.
Two of the rollers will be utilized in Nairobi, while Coast and Rift Valley provinces have each been allocated one-roller. This investment is a massive step up in as far as overall ground preparation equipment is concerned.
The poweroll ride-on versatile rollers are expected to shorten by a significant margin the amount of time groundsmen use to prepare a cricket pitch which over time had been a tedious exercise.
