Cricket Kenya is delighted to announce a new sponsorship partnership with Karuturi Global.

The new agreement will see Karuturi become official sponsor of the National team during the Cricket World Cup 2011 and for the rest of the year in all forms of cricket. The initial one year partnership is a major boost to Cricket Kenya as it seeks to develop the game at all levels throughout the country.

Karuturi Global is currently the world’s largest producer of roses, the world’s largest holder of greenhouse assets and is among the top 25 agro-transnational corporations and is growing at a rapid pace. The organisation’s other interests include food processing, floriculture retailing and information technology. They have extensive interests throughout Africa and the company’s Kenyan operations are centred in Naivasha.

Cricket Kenya Chief Executive Tom Sears said: ‘We are very pleased to welcome Karuturi Global on board as a major new partner to Cricket Kenya. Their involvement will provide a major boost to cricket from grass roots all the way through to our national teams.
