Klazinga inspires Namibia to comeback win

Kenya lost to Namibia by seven wickets in the ongoing ICC Twenty20 World Cup Qualifier at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the UAE.

Namibia’s bowler Louis Klazinga was the toast of their comeback after Kenya had made a bright start to find themselves at 84 for 1 in 10.4 overs but the paceman’s 4-wicket haul meant that Kenya lost their way in the middle of the order with just 24 runs added for the loss of nine wickets to post a low total of 108.

Duncan Allan and Collins Obuya had laid the foundation for a sizeable score but were then let down by the batsmen who followed as none of them got to double figures.

Namibia chased down the target with 3.3 overs and seven wickets to spare, Raymond van Schoor top scoring for the Southern Africans undefeated on 49.
