Kenya will host Uganda in five-Twenty20 warm up matches in Nairobi between Saturday 3rd and Tuesday 6th March as part of their preparations for the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers scheduled to be held in Dubai, later this month.
Uganda who like Kenya will be involved in the qualifiers in the Middle East will take full advantage of the opportunity to play the Kenyans whom they also grouped together in the World Cup Qualifiers.
The matches will take place at Sir Ali Club on 3rd and will continue on 5th and 6th at Nairobi Gymkhana with two matches scheduled on each day. Uganda will also play a one-off 50-over game against the Kenya Emerging squad and a Twenty20 encounter on the last day of their tour.
Cricket Kenya Chief Executive Tom Sears said: ‘We look forward to competitive matches against a strong Ugandan team that has performed well recently to help our team prepare for the qualifiers.
