The Cricket Kenya selection panel has named a 15 man squad to travel to India and play Indian Ranji Trophy team Andhra in a series of 50 over and Twenty 20 matches. The team flew to India on Saturday and the matches include three 50 over and seven Twenty20 matches before the team returns on 21st January.

Chairman of Selectors Alpesh Vader said: ‘This is an important tour ahead of a key period of fixtures in the next few months with Intercontinental Cup, World Cup Qualifiers and ranking T20 matches against Ireland in Mombasa in February and then the Twenty20 World Cup qualifiers in Dubai in March.
‘These players have an excellent opportunity to cement places for themselves in those squads and also specific roles within the team itself. We are looking to bed down combinations, for individuals to start producing match winning contributions and for the team to develop a winning culture.’
