Peponi School to host National Girls Secondary School League Matches
Peponi School will host this weekend's National Girls Secondary School League matches on Sunday.

The matches will be between former champions Kenya High School and leaders Mount Laverna and Rift Valley Development XI.

The matches had earlier been scheduled to be played at Ruaraka Sports Club and Eastleigh High School but due to the ongoing Festival of Friendship matches the grounds will not be available.

CK Special Development Officer Dun Okinyo said he is delighted that Peponi School had come in handy to assist in availing the ground.

“We are absolutely delighted with the news. I thank the school for having availed the ground,” he said.

“I am so happy the facilities they have to offer and it will allow people from outskirts of Nairobi to come and watch cricket on their doorsteps.

On Saturday, Ruaraka will play defending champions City Park Girls Centre at Ruaraka Sports Club.

“Ruaraka will only be available on Saturday morning as in the afternoon they will be playing the Festival of Friendship matches,” Okinyo said.

The morning matches will start at 9am while the afternoon will begin at 2pm.
